FAQ

Not many voices available+

Available voices depend on your OS and browser. Windows, Mac, Android, and iPhone all provide default Korean voices.

Can I save as MP3?+

The Web Speech API doesn't support file saving โ€” playback only. To record, use screen-capture software or a separate TTS service (Google TTS, Naver Clova, etc.).

Does it sound natural like AI voices?+

Naturalness depends on the OS. Mac's Siri and iOS voices sound fairly natural, while default Windows voices can sound a bit robotic.

Can I use this for English pronunciation practice?+

Yes. Pick an English voice and lower speed to 0.7โ€“0.8 โ€” great for learning pronunciation.

Will it read long text?+

No technical limit but browsers may cut off if too long. Split into chunks under 1000 characters for reliability.

Why does Korean audio cut off or stop?+

Stability varies by browser. Chrome and Edge are most reliable; Safari and Firefox have some limits.
