How many entries are there?+

About 170 hanja, focused on Korean Hanja Proficiency grades 8 through 3. We'll expand over time.

How do I convert hanja-mixed text in bulk?+

Use [Hanja to Hangul]. It's based on a 600-character dictionary and handles whole passages.

What are the grades?+

Korean Hanja Proficiency Test levels. 8th grade (50 characters) is the easiest; 1st grade (3,500) is the hardest. Around 4th grade you can read most newspaper hanja.

Are abbreviated/variant forms covered?+

We focus on standard forms. Some common abbreviations are included, but full variant mapping needs a separate dictionary.

Stroke counts differ from my textbook — why?+

Stroke counts can vary by ±1 between Korean/Chinese/Japanese conventions. We follow the Korean Hanja Proficiency standard.

Can I search by radical?+

Not yet. For radical-based search, try a dedicated site like Naver Hanja Dictionary.
