Checks use 'Twelve Thousand and 00/100' format. The tool produces this automatically.

Why no comma in 'twelve thousand'?+

English has two conventions for big numbers — with or without 'and'. This tool defaults to US style (no 'and').

Million and billion?+

Million (10⁶), Billion (10⁹), Trillion (10¹²). English and Korean digit boundaries differ — easy to mix up.

How do I write an English check in Korea?+

Korean banks can issue English checks for foreign remittance. Spelling out the amount prevents tampering.

Negatives and very large numbers?+

Negatives get 'minus' or 'negative' prefix. Large numbers up to trillion or quadrillion supported.
