FAQ

Does audio change with the video?+

Yes. Both video and audio scale at the same rate — faster means higher-pitched, slower means lower.

Can I keep pitch while changing speed?+

Audio scales proportionally in this tool. For pitch-preserved playback rate change, use audio editing software like Audacity.

Does 2x make the file half size?+

Same bitrate, shorter video — file size usually drops by about half.

Isn't 0.25x too slow?+

It's useful for detailed analysis of golf swings, science experiments, and dance choreography. For just slow viewing, 0.5x is usually enough.

Frames look choppy — why?+

Slowing 30fps source makes the same frame repeat, looking choppy. Source shot at 60fps+ stays smoother.

How long does processing take?+

About 1–2x the video length. For long videos, trim the part you need first with the Video Trim tool.
