FAQ
Does it show codec info?+
The browser video API doesn't expose codec info. Only resolution, length, and size are shown. For detailed codec data, use a dedicated tool like MediaInfo.
Why check video info?+
Examples: 4K won't fit on KakaoTalk so you need to drop to 720p; a 1-minute video at 500MB needs compression; 30fps vs. 60fps changes GIF conversion settings.
What does FPS mean?+
Frames per second. Standard video is 30fps; smooth slow-motion or games run 60fps+; films use 24fps.
MOV, MKV, AVI?+
If your browser can play it, info will show. Some legacy codecs may only show partial details.
Does EXIF or location data show?+
Some metadata can include GPS, but this tool focuses on basic specs.
