FAQ

How is this different from PDF split?+

Split creates multiple PDFs (one ZIP). Extract creates one PDF containing the selected pages. Extract is more convenient if you want to share them as one document.

What's the range syntax?+

Commas and hyphens. '1-3, 5, 7-9' extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 in that order.

Can I reorder while extracting?+

Pages follow the order you type. For example, '5, 1-2' gives you page 5 first, then 1, then 2.

Can I specify 'until the last page' in one shot?+

Use explicit numbers (e.g., '7-10' if the doc has 10 pages). Keywords like 'end' aren't supported.

Does the extracted PDF re-number pages from 1?+

The printed page numbers in the body stay as-is. Use [PDF page numbers] to renumber.

Does it work on password-protected PDFs?+
