FAQ
Is my password stored?+
No. All evaluation happens in your browser and nothing is transmitted — verify via the network tab.
What makes a strong password?+
(1) 12+ characters, (2) mix of upper/lower/numbers/symbols, (3) no dictionary words or keyboard patterns, (4) not reused across sites.
Why avoid dictionary words?+
Attackers commonly use dictionary attacks. 'password', '123456', city names, your own name and birthday are the most dangerous.
Are passphrases (long phrases) safe?+
Yes. A random 4-word combo like 'correct horse battery staple' is safer than a short complex password — but the words must be random.
Do I also need 2FA?+
Strong password + 2FA is safest. Even if the password leaks, 2FA blocks the attacker. Always enable on important accounts.
Are password managers good?+
Use a manager like 1Password, Bitwarden, or KeePass to safely keep a different strong password for each site.
