FAQ

Does rotating lose quality?+

Right-angle rotations (90/180/270) have no quality loss — pixels are just rearranged.

Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle (e.g., 30°)?+

Only right-angle rotations (multiples of 90) for now. Arbitrary angles cut the image or leave blank space and need extra handling.

When do I use horizontal vs vertical flip?+

Horizontal (mirror) flip is great for fixing selfies where text appears reversed. Vertical flip is often used for reflection or design effects.

Can I batch-rotate multiple photos the same way?+

One at a time for now. If all photos are wrong-oriented in the same way, a dedicated EXIF Orientation tool is more efficient.

Does this rewrite pixels or just change EXIF rotation?+

This tool actually rearranges pixels, so the photo looks correct in any viewer or app.

Can I rotate PDF pages too?+

This is for images only. Use the PDF Rotate tool for PDF rotation.
