What happens to the transparent background?+

How much smaller will the file be?+
For photo-heavy PNGs, expect 50–80% size reduction at 90% JPG quality. Solid-color or logo PNGs see less difference.
Is 100% quality lossless?+
JPG is fundamentally lossy, so even 100% isn't truly lossless. If you need lossless, stick with PNG or lossless WebP.
