FAQ

How is it fair?+

Uses Web Crypto's cryptographically secure random. More statistically uniform than Math.random().

What's a D20?+

A 20-sided die. Most commonly used in TRPGs like Dungeons & Dragons. 1 is a critical fail, 20 is a critical hit.

Can I roll multiple at once?+

Yes. Specify count like '3D6' (three 6-sided dice) to see the sum and each result together.

Is a coin flip exactly 50:50?+

Statistically nearly uniform. Short trials may lean one way due to randomness, but it averages out.

Good for making decisions?+

Fine for fun. For important decisions, weigh pros and cons rather than relying on pure random.

Different from physical dice?+

Statistically the same. Physical dice aren't perfectly balanced either, so digital is arguably more reliable for randomness.
