How to use
- 1In the z-table tab, convert z→cumulative probability or probability→z instantly.
- 2In the table, the cell where the row (z to one decimal) meets the column (second decimal) is Φ(z).
- 3In the t-table tab, the cell where df meets one-tail α is the critical value.
FAQ
Do the values match textbook tables?+
Yes — computed numerically and identical to printed tables (e.g. t(10, 0.05)=1.812, Φ(1.96)=0.9750).
How do I read two-tailed tests?+
Halve α: for two-tailed 0.05, use the one-tail 0.025 column.
My df isn't listed?+
We provide df 1–30, 40, 60, 120 and ∞ (=z). Interpolate or use the next smaller df to be conservative.
