What patterns are detected?+
Korean credit cards (16 digits), Korean RRN (13 digits), mobile and landline phones (10~11 digits), and emails.
How is it masked?+
Example: 010-1234-5678 → 010-****-5678, or 940101-1******** format. Some digits remain to prevent re-identification.
Any false positives?+
Long digit sequences may be mistaken for cards. Always review the output before using.
Does it work for foreign cards/phones?+
Korean-focused. Foreign cards (15, 19 digits) and international phone formats are only partially detected.
Sufficient for GDPR/privacy law compliance?+
Technical masking is step one. Compliance also needs data policies, access control, and encryption.
Can I reverse the masking?+
Masking is irreversible. Keep the original safely.
