FAQ
UPC-A vs EAN-13?+
UPC-A is 12 digits (US); EAN-13 is 13 (rest of world). EAN-13 with leading 0 is compatible with UPC-A, but US-issued codes are safer for US retail.
Can I use it for Amazon FBA?+
Yes. UPC-A is the standard for Amazon FBA listings. You need a GS1 US company prefix for legitimate registration.
Where do I get a company code?+
GS1 US (gs1us.org). Annual membership required. Separate from GS1 Korea.
Can I generate UPC-E too?+
UPC-E is a compressed 6-digit form for small products. This tool only supports UPC-A.
Can I enter 12 digits directly?+
