Lossy formats like MP3 can have minor loss when re-encoding. Lossless formats like WAV and FLAC stay intact.

Yes. Trim to about 30 seconds and save as .m4a β iPhone can use it as a ringtone (requires separate registration).
Can I cut multiple segments at once?+
One segment at a time. For multiple cuts, trim each part separately then combine with the Audio Merge tool.

Auto-generated from the original name plus start/end times (e.g., lecture_30s-60s.mp3).
Will large audio files work?+
Usually stable under 100MB. For 1+ hour recordings, cut into smaller parts first.
