Can I drive after?+

Korea's legal limit is BAC 0.03%. Even one drink (a shot of soju or 200ml beer) is risky — don't drink and drive.

Same alcohol in a shot of soju and a glass of beer?+

Soju 50ml at 17% ≈ 8.5g alcohol. Beer 200ml at 5% ≈ 10g. Roughly equal. A 500ml draft = about 3 shots of soju.

How long until I'm sober?+

Adult males metabolize ~0.015% BAC per hour. From 0.05%, ~3 hours to 0%. Varies by person and whether you ate.

Bottle of wine = how much soju?+

Wine 750ml at 12% ≈ 90g alcohol. Soju bottle (360ml, 17%) ≈ 60g. One wine bottle ≈ 1.5 soju bottles.

Makgeolli, sake, whiskey too?+
